Funny. No , stew is thick and icky...
I pulled out the pieces of roast and potatoes and dumped the rest.
I like raw veggies and will eat a few lightly cooked but most I will not eat.
Like I said, I'm getting better.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
Dang--I bought the one on top--love it though they say it's "pre conditioned" and that's crap. I had to condition it myself because it was not well done. I'm disappointed only because I didn't get that great handle with mine.
I like the flat bottom so it sits on the platesetter flat if i want to. if I need to elevate it, just pull out those egg-feet I don't use for anything else.
Oh--and although I'm sure people do this, my wife threatened to leave me if I ever put her LeCreuzet on the egg! Can you believe that!?! :P -
I put my old Le Crueset on the Egg and Ku did not like cleaning it!!! Hey, I bought it (with a set) in the early 70s for real cheap -- loved those Foley's Bargain Basement sales :woohoo: Still have a set of glass dishes from France that are indestructable! We use them almost daily.

The 7 qt lodge with the handle is the exact model I have.Large & MiniMax in Lexington, KY

My wife would have my tail if I put any of her Le Crueset on the egg. Thats why I got the lodge. The handle works great.Large & MiniMax in Lexington, KY

Yea I wanted to go French but the Boss persuaded me to stick with the cheaper option.

Beli, Boss lady got me a 20 quart for Christmas. I wanted to use it to cook turkeys. That thing is 17 inches in diameter and seven inched deep and just fits on the large. It browns the bird like you would not believe. It also cooks faster than the lighter pots so a full load of lump will do six hours or so easier. Nie quart works for most other tings with a crowd. Boss lady and I use a four quart otherwise.

TKS Turk. Another good option

Darian why did you change pots?Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.
