Nice looking dinner! Been looking for a pan like that to try and cook some snails at the house, where did you pick it up at?
-
Sportsman's Warehouse. It is called an Ableskiver pan.
-
Enough already your making me hungry
I don't mind lighting up an egg late but all the stores are closed now and the shrimp ain't running yet  -
I thought you made up a crazy name for your scallops...
-
 It was MITEE TASTEE!
-
Not this time.Ableskivers are a pastry type dessert cooked in Scandinavian countries.Sorta/kinda like pancakes to us.The first thing that came to mind when I saw the pan was Stuffed shrooms or oysters.
-
Dayyyyyyyy-ummmmm. I do declare...there's nothing you can't cook!

Hi Dave
I do not have one yet but a takoyaki pan is about the same thing. From what I have read, the heavy cast iron ones are the best. Some day I hope to add one to my collection also. The one in the link above doesn't have a wooden handle on it as some do. I thought that would make it better for use on the egg.

Great idea Hoss, looks mighty fine from here.
I cook cornbread in my Ableskiver pan, makes little cornbread balls that the kids love. Oddly they don't eat the same cornbread if it comes out of a cast iron skillet. You just have to give up trying to reason with teenagers... -
I know what you mean!
