Are Marinated Artichoke hearts good on pizza??

    Absolutely, California style, think sushi grade tuna slices also.Pineapple pieces/crushed. Mele Kalikimaka!

    P.S. Save the marinade for poultry.

    Absolutely!! One of my favorite toppings! Just make sure you drain them well so you don't end up with too much oil on the pie. :)

    Scott, no doubt about it a fantastic topping, drizzle a little u'that shizzle from the jar on the pie too. This one is marinated artichoke hearts with caramelized fennel & goat cheese:

    No. Artichoke hearts aren't good on ANYTHING! :sick:

    Pizzas are meant to have some combination of pepperoni, Italian sausage, peppers, onions, hamburger, bacon and assorted cheeses. And for God's sake, no FRUIT!!

  • Hey Borders... we love artichokes on pizza. We make white pizza using alfredo sauce, mozz cheeze, garlic and artichokes.

    no, they were straight up marinated hearts (olive oil, vinegar & seasonings). Yours went on the below melanzanazza, I dumped the better part of the jar squeez'ns on this pie, you may notice a small quantity of oil on the surface of the pie :laugh:

    I was thinking of pineapple. Has no business on a pizza! :) Didn't realize artichokes were thistles, but that's an even better reason they should never be eaten! :laugh:
