Glad you had a great day with your family Molly. The food looks wonderful. Good luck with the Bongo's. My parents gave me a set(?) when I was a kid. I never did figure out why. LOL. I didn't ask for them and once I had them I wasn't allowed to play them in the house. Go figure. Parent logic. It was just one of those mysteries that appeared under the Christmas tree that year. I am guessing that they eventually ended up in a yard sale many years later. I never did learn to play them.

I'm stoked to learn Blair!! My Dad is a master musician, so I grew up with instuments in the house. Drums in the basement. I distinctly remember the first time I saw and heard those lovely steel drums. In Manitou Springs, they have full moon drummings. I'm going to drum with the Manatouians....hahaha It is a hippy kinda town.
Enjoying the new tv, I hope.
    Peace and granola! ;)

Mighty fine lookin skins there. Much nicer than the ones Maynard G. Krebs had on the Dobie Gillis show. Look forward to your first performance. Merry Christmas. :)

Merry Christmas to you Molly - sounds and looks like a wonderful day with family. Bongo drums, huh?? I always wanted a piano (never learned to play, still wanted one). Oh well - I'm blessed and it's all good. Hope all your Christmas dreams come true.

Your so lucky to have a musician in the family! We had instruments in grade school but not necessarily our choice and no one in the house who could help so it was frustrating and none of us excelled. I use to play the keyboard some and will get back into it someday. I wanted to buy a keyboard recently but could not find what I wanted. The really great keyboards are big and heavy and I want something with that quality but portable. Maybe next year after my budget recovers. The Manitou Springs happening sounds like a good time. Not many Hippie types in Florida, I think most have gotten old or something.

LOL, the new TV is awesome! A good 46" HDTV in a small mobile home is like a private drive-in only better! I watched my first program in 3D last night. It was a Jessica Simpson Christmas Special, LOL, I thought the 3D made her look fat!

I hope your weekend continues to be great,

    Blair
