Pear Cobbler?

Anybody ever done one? Peach sure, but pear? Did a quick search and couldn't turn anything up. Any and all help as always will be greatly appreciated.

I have mixed half pears and peaches before, but felt like the pears didn't cook quite as nicely as the peaches. That said, last week I picked up some Comice pears at The Fresh Market - they are so smooth and sweet - I think they are going to be perfect. Planning to have pear cobbler for New Years Day dinner....I'll post pics if it turns out decently
