OT: Bourbon Balls are coming

Just got my Bourbon Ball ice maker from Makers Mark in the mail.
It is for making round ice balls for your drinks.
Cool..............
Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

    My balls challenge yours! Happy Holidays!!

    Dessert, Balls, Bourbon/Rum


    INGREDIENTS:
    1 Cup Sugar, Confectioners, Sifted
    1 1/2 Tbs. Cocoa, Sifted
    1/4 Cup Corn Syrup, White
    3 Tbs. Bourbon or Rum
    3 Cups Vanilla Wafers, Crushed
    1 Cup Nuts, Chopped




    Procedure:
    1 Mix sugar and cocoa; add corn syrup and rum/bourbon. Add crushed wafers and nuts, mix. Using 2 teaspoons for each, shape into balls. If desired roll balls in sugar. Store in air-tight containers.


    Yield: 4 Dozen

    Your balls are the winner. Unless I make my balls out of coke and put in a glass of bourbon :laugh:

    Those do work great. Racket ball size ice cube and Woodford Reserve. Got mine last week.

    Mine will also go in Woodford Reserve. But Woodford is not sending out the stuff.
