Manicotti on BGE
jurisdoc
Posts: 77
14 people over for a Christmas party last night, and with limited oven space, I decided to do the final cooking of one of the pans of Manicotti on the BGE (early Christmas gift). Just set up on rack above inverted (legs up) place setter at 350 and viola! Took 10 min longer than the oven but 3 out of 4 preferred the egg cooked to the oven cooked. Slight smoked cheese flavor to the mozarella.

jurisdoc,
Haven't made manicotti or canneloni in a while but it is better on the egg. Lasagna is really good too.

Welcome! Very cool. I agree with BigA...everything is better on the egg. However, there is always that "1 in 4" that just doesn't know what good food tastes like :PWhich came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
