My neighborhood had a Christmas get-together today around the pool and everyone was asked to bring an appetizer or dessert to serve 6.
I brought a Large and Small EGG and went slightly overboard on the amount of servings.
First, 2 fatties.... sorry but they got gobbled up so fast I only got a pic of the droppings:

After that, I got better at the picture taking/ serving/ talking up the egg.
Next up - Crabbies. I did 4 batches of these. This was a reheat to keep things warm:

Now we have flatbread, my new favoritist appetizer.
I bought this at RD for $2, 6 to a pack:

This was a pesto=shrimp=parmesan=mozarella flatbread. 10 minutes at 400 dome, cooked on a pizza stone:

Really easy to slice and serve - it stays crispy so it's easy to eat while standing and chitchatting:

Meanwhile the temp outside was dropping and never even made it close to the weather predictions for the day. Everyone was happy to have some hot food served.
There was 95% humidity~ I know it's not cold for everyone, but my eggs were the most popular place to hang out near:

Cool, I scored a coupla 1/2 bottles of Beaujolais that were left behind!

OK, I think I got at least 2 eggs sold today and maybe more! Happy Holidays!

Nice cooking and spreading the egg love Faith. We get those thin crust cooked doughs at work. I took a bunch the Texas and the folks went nutz for them.
Go bundle up and get a drink.

Looks good Faith,, so you wheeled your eggs down to the pool? Getting chilly again tonight but we had a couple of really nice days.

Yes, I wheeled 2 eggs in their nests down to the pool. It was chilly but I stayed out there for 4 1/2 hours, til it started to get COLD. Getting warm now, I have the socks on and the robe over my sweats now.Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Nice Faith. Two days ago I was coming out of Lowes and helped a stranger load his new purchase a Gasser. I politely told him about the BGE. I'm happy if I only planted the seed.

Thanks Faith. I see you will have 70F degree highs after today. I seen somewhere on the news getting in an ice bath will help a person lose weight maybe I should come down there and try it before they start calling me 3Fategghead. :woohoo: Everything here is frozen.
