My neighborhood had a Christmas get-together today around the pool and everyone was asked to bring an appetizer or dessert to serve 6.

I brought a Large and Small EGG and went slightly overboard on the amount of servings.

First, 2 fatties.... sorry but they got gobbled up so fast I only got a pic of the droppings:

After that, I got better at the picture taking/ serving/ talking up the egg.

Next up - Crabbies. I did 4 batches of these. This was a reheat to keep things warm:

Now we have flatbread, my new favoritist appetizer.

I bought this at RD for $2, 6 to a pack:

This was a pesto=shrimp=parmesan=mozarella flatbread. 10 minutes at 400 dome, cooked on a pizza stone:

Really easy to slice and serve - it stays crispy so it's easy to eat while standing and chitchatting:

Meanwhile the temp outside was dropping and never even made it close to the weather predictions for the day. Everyone was happy to have some hot food served.

There was 95% humidity~ I know it's not cold for everyone, but my eggs were the most popular place to hang out near:

Cool, I scored a coupla 1/2 bottles of Beaujolais that were left behind!

OK, I think I got at least 2 eggs sold today and maybe more! Happy Holidays!
Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!
