Cooking 2 briskets at once

Cooking a 7 and 9 lb briskets on a large with my extender ring from ceramic grill store.

My question is should i cook the larger on the top or bottom? should i rotate?

    I would cook the larger one on top.Keep a check on both internal temps and rotate if necessary.I'm guessin it won't be but it never hurts to check. :)

    I would put the bigger one on top too, in order to try to even out the cooking time a little bit. I think rotating would be too much trouble.

    Also, the fat dripping off the top one will probably wash the rub off the bottom one (at least that's what happened when I cooked a brisket under a butt). Not much you can do about it, but it probably argues against rotating so you don't lose the rub on both of them.
