I took advantage of one of those v3485 units for $80 a few weeks ago - then I received an email last night offering 35% off foodsaver.com (anything on the website)
In addition, their new freezer-to-microwave vented steaming bags (quart size) are buy one get one pack free, so on top of that offer was 35% off (ended up 64 quart bags for $12 I think). It looked to me like the steaming bags were similar to the standard quart bags except they are somehow ventilated for steam, and they stand up by themselves. I would think they can be used for regular freezer storage as well.
I stocked up on bags and rolls for my new unit. Could not find a better price anywhere else. There was no discount code, I had to click right from the email.
Maybe folks can find the offer online, as I do not know how to transfer it. It was a limited time offer - until midnight the 17th I believe.
If anyone is interested, I could try to cut and paste the link to the resulting foodsaver website page, after I click in the email - but that email is at home so I will have to post it on the forum tonight.

Thanks for the heads up. I got the same thing but deleted without reading it! I got the v3485 as well so I might as well stock up on some bags!
Here is a link that will take you to the offer:
