Frozen Lid!

What a morning!
Well I have 4, 10-12 lbs pork butts which I volunteered to smoke for my company xmas luncheon tomorrow so I get up early on this cold Maryland morning (22 degrees) and the damn egg lid is frozen shut. Hubby gets his heat gun out and that didn't work. Then he throww a bunch of fire starters in the bottom screened area hoping that some of the old hardwood catch on fire which it finally did. After an hour it finally opened up! Then when I go to throw the butts on, only 3 will fit in my large egg! But I'm happily smoking away with 1 in the oven!
