Has anyone had any experience with this "campfire in a can" as an alternative to a fire pit? It is propane powered, claims to be safe on patio carpet or wood deck.

Yes we use them when camping and they are nice...they do throw off some heat..$109 at Camping World if you are a President's Club member....
