Just ‘cause it doesn’t snow very often in the South, we have a wonderful collections of elves. My elf is “Misippi Egger”, Clark Ethridge from Madison MS. He graciously drove around the state of MS to gather my goodies.

UBON’s BBQ Sauce is about 45 minutes from him. They have a trophy room full of their “Q”winnings.

    The 'run' to Virginia was the hardest, since the Chinese product was already here! :laugh: :laugh:

    Actually I found all the distant products in a family-run small grocery chain (closest was about 20 min. drive from my house) that one of the surgical techs told me about last week. Interesting store. The UBON sauce was a surprise (bonus) that they also happened to carry. Normally when we have water to hunt ducks, I drive by Ubons going to and from my camp, but alas, no water, no hunting yet this year!

    People here use the Hoover's sauce for multiple applications - in ground beef for burgers, a teaspoon or so in a pot of veggies to make them taste garden fresh. A small amount on salmon filets prior to the Egg. Diluted a little (EVOO) and used to marinate steak or chicken,... The list goes on...
