PattyO, If Cindy and I ever meet you we will give you a big hug. Thanks a million really. Tim
As you can tell I was surprised and happy to see a box was left on my step today by our mailman. I would not have found out except I went out to try my new infrared ThermaWorks temperature measuring device and I almost tripped on the box! Ha

First out of the box is the yellow terrible towel and since my Titans aren't doing so well I guess I need to cheer somebody on! :woohoo:

Then as if she was reading my mind a bag with 4 cups of oo flour. :cheer: She even left me dough making directions. Thanks I need that!
I have been studying on making pizza. Like I said Friday I received an IRK from ThermoWorks an infrared temperature reading device so I can check how hot my baking stone is before putting on the pizza. This past weekend we even stocked up on mozzarella cheese and peperoni, mushrooms and sauce.

Next you never ever have enough CI cooking pans and right about now my head is swimming because I believe I hit the jack pot. WOW

Just when I thought it was over Cindy dug around in the box and pulled out one last item. It's a vacuumed sealed bag of Habanero HOT jerky.
Thank you

Thanks Dave, I can't wait to see how to improve on making pizza in my egg. I hope my first one is a bute. :P

Tim, that's a fantastic haul you got from Patty. Do you think she might reveal the source of her 00 flour? (Gentle hint for Patty to answer here). That's sposed to be the secret ingredient for fantastic pizza dough. Now we need to see some pics of all this pizza paraphernalia in action, with the end results also. If you had some of Richard's spices your pizza sauce would be over the top.

Mr. Dog, I have been looking for this flour. I hope she does let us know where she got it from. I have two butts to deal with soon (one is for shredded pork and the other I plan to cure for bacon)and some ground hamburger to patty up and grill for later in the week. Then I will make some dough and and give it a go! :woohoo:
You'll see for sure. Tim

You are so very welcome. It was a lot of fun putting the package together. I hope you enjoy it all. The towel and jerky were the best I could do for "local" products. Anyone can order the Caputo Tipo 00 pizza flour from http://www.pennmac.com/ or ask your local pizza parlor if you don't have an Italian import store. Penn Mac is in Pittsburgh, PA. They mail order everything. Have a super holiday.
Let's cash in on that hug, ((((HUG))) -
Tim, save some of that pulled pork to put on the za! I've not tried it yet, but it sounds like pulled pork belongs on egg cooked pizza.
-
((((HUG))) back to you! Thanks. Tim

Gotta try it. :P
