Broke my Large Egg lid during assembly

I guess I didn't tighten the band enogh as the lid poped off onto the deck when I lifted the lid midway between cooking. Does Egg seel replacement lids?

They sure will. Just get a hold of the dealer and he should take care of you. Those bolts need to be so tight they bend a fair amount. The directions say you WON"T break the dome. and you won't.

Well I paid 3 bills for a large base after dropping it. Considering your dealer should have gone through the 'vitals' to assembly and obviously didn't, they may be (or should be) extremely kind in regards to cost.
Mine opened a new egg and got me cooking immediately. That was pretty cool of them. -

Call Bruce at BGE customer service. He does well with replacement parts. I've paid only shipping on a few. Good luck and let us know.
