Basting the Mad Max

Hey guys, I got the Friday Thanksgiving Day feast lined up and I'm prepping my first Mad Max turkey.
Everything seems very straight forward and maybe I'm just not reading this correctly, but what is it you actually baste the turkey with? Water from the roasting pan? Or am I just missing something completely?
TIA

Yes, the liquids from the pan which collects drippings. Which will be wine, if you use it, and turkey fat.

What Jager said...it should be wine, butter, herbs and turkey drippings.
