got my "feet" on top of several 19 cent firebricks..been that way for MANY years..knock on wood..no problems so far...wouldn't be surprised to see an asking price of $20 + dollars for that fancy contraption..never mind shipping on a hunk of concrete....still say, it's pretty inventive tho.

I am in the process of designing my outdoor kitchen and don't want to tie up my BGE feet in the cabinet because I use them for a few different cooks.
Any ideas are always appreciated.

BGE stresses some type of paver or other device under the egg..I feel that an air gap only helps that....the feet provide an easy way of achieving that ....and you can certainly buy more feet from your dealer for a fairly cheap price...here's a quick pic I found of my setup...quarry tiles and firebricks..and its been that way for 7 years with no problems...

Looks like he made a form with a cut up frizbee and 3 dixie cups--should be pretty easy to duplicate--
