I cooked some'en: Welcome home pizza

Everything has been such a tail spin the last couple weeks. 6 days of 12 hr work then 3 days at the OK Fest then 2 more 12 hour days at work. Off the next two days and I intend to relax a bit. Got home from work tonight hoping to spend some time in the garden relaxing. Thought I would hook up the new router real quick first. WRONG! 2 1/2 hours later
after talking to Packastain, Malashia, Eastern Turkey and HongKong I got the thing working. Tossed the zaa on real fast while wife made a nice fire in the chemeka. Sorry no raws. An easy Canadian bacon and pepperoni with shrooms and an EVOO drizzle with smoked Italian parshley and fresh on top.

Egg at 400 and let the stone preheat for 15 min.

Rotate the pizza every 4 min. till crust is nice and brown.

Some how I managed to end up with 3 of Dougs pale ales in the chest when I got home. Not to worry IC 2010 they didn't go to waste!

Wife and I were talking about the after cook party tonight and I remembered the limo out front. Any one get a pic of me and Dr. Z snatching the door open on the young ladys offering them a shrimp??! That was great. You would have thought the devil himself had open the door OF that limo when Doug and me leaned into that limo smelling like a brush fire sticking a plate of shrimps in the middle of them!!

Glad to see you are back home and getting settled. Jake looks good too.
Every time I saw you in OKC you were cooking. Did you ever stop? I think it's safe to say Big Green Egg got their money's worth out of you. They do pay you, don't they??? LOL...
It was very nice to finally meet you in person. Even nicer to find out that in addition to being a good cook you're a fun guy too. I hope to see you again at some future Eggfests, or even at the next Coop Party. That would be fantastic.
Oh yea, and your pizza looks great.
Say goodnight Leroy.

It was good to meet you in OKC, hate you had to get back in the swing of things so quick, hope you enjoy your time off. pizza looks pretty good

Relax, take a few deep breaths, enjoy your Za and rub jakes head. Your week is over, Thanks for your efforts at the OKC fest. Have some fun and I look foreward to your future posts. You have established yourself in the elite of the forum in my opinion with your cooking in OKC. You have done yourself proud. What transpired in the limo I cannot say. Hopefully Jake was not privey to it. Birds tend to stress easily in such circumstances. :woohoo:

The same hear Sir Chicken! You and the hen were just as I thought you would be! I trust you made it back sound and everything was fine when you got back. Wish we could have said good by Sunday before we left but I trust we will meet again even if we have to wait till next year!

Noth'en happened in the limo!! Another 5 seconds and I figure the cops would have been on the way!
-
Jerry I'll share a tent with you anyday! Very nice to meet you as well. One of the things about so many people at once is that you can't spend enough time with everyone you want to. You'll be there next year right?!
-
thats mighty early. it was about 5 1/2 hrs, got in about 130. rain stopped at the state line, so that made it a little more fun. how much farther to south Ark?

The pizza looks great. I'm glad you made it home safely.
It looks like you had alot of fun from all the pictures from OKC. The Carmen Miranda one is hysterical, sorry, but you will never live that one down! You are a good sport to let Anne dress you up in grapes!
