It's Dangerous (Well, for the pocket book ;)) to visit your local BGE dealer. I went in today for some smoking wood, and left with $150 more stuff. Lots of fun toys out there. Maybe I should leave the debit card at home next time. Well... You live and you learn :).

    This forum is absolutely influentual as far as buying things go..I managed to hold for around 2 years after the thermapen was the "hot new thing" but eventually I came to the realization..that yes I had to have one of those also....LOL

    That's what's happening to me with the AR. Every time I look at this place, someone is telling me how great it is. I'm sure it IS, but so far, I haven't figured out why I need one. Same with a spider.

    Then again, I DID buy that Mini to keep the Large company. LOL

    Always somethin'.....................

    Think this post gave a differnt message than I meant to convey. It was meant to be humorous. Maybe my humor is more sarcastic than some.
    I bought some cool stuff, that I hadn't anticipated buying, and have no regrets.

    Think of it as part of the money you will save on restaurant meals :) I went out to a dealer on Saturday to meet some guys doing a demo and I dropped a hundred and a half as well. No plans to buy anything

    It even happens in clothes stores. I went for work shoes. All they had were the mens. I wondered thinking, hmmmm, Texas is hot. I'll be there in 25 days. Then I found myself at the register with two pairs of shorts. :laugh: :lol::)

    Uh, I thought it was meant in humor, not sarcasm. I go to the local Ace Hardware to buy my lump because if I go to the Ace dealer where my egg came from it will cost me big bucks because Kelly could sell me fertilizer and tell me to put it in my egg and I would! Funny part is my wife goes with me and says "here, you need this and this and this..." and I look at her and say who the hell are you and what did you do with my real wife! She even wants me to buy a second large egg.

    You got that right! I cooked two ribeyes Saturday night that cost me $32. The only place that sells them this size is Ruth Chris or Bonz. And they would cost $50/plate not counting wine and desert. Big savings!
