HHH???? I can't win

Bran new thermometer and it starting registering and then I got "HHH" I just threw 2 of these away because they registered that. Any ideas?

Do you have a Thermapen too? You really need one of those for your higher temp shorter time cooks. They're kinda expensive, but well worth the cost.

No I don't have one. I did some research and there's a better type out there. I forget the name of it but it's a better read out and there's bumper cushions on the ends in case you drop it. I have it written down at my office. So I will probably order one of those. It's a little cheaper.... By the way my meal tonight was the best that I've cooked. I will have pics of it tomorrow when I get to the office. It was just meatloaf but incredible. thanks for all th ehelp

Glad it turned out well for you. Doesn't matter what type you decide to get, but an instant read thermometer is really a must in my opinion. Made a world of difference in my cooking once I started using it. And my husband now takes credit for the idea and thinks it's one of his tools! :laugh:

I just tried but "Customer service phone hours are from 12-4pm Eastern Time" Do you believe that? So I have to wait now until then. I should run my business that way. I wouldn't be open....Unbelievable
