Anyone have opinions on Emeril's enamaled CI DO?

My wife bought me an Emeril 3.5 quart enameled cast iron dutch oven for xmas. It says it can withstand heat up to 550*. It cost around $50.
I was wondering should I use this to get my feet wet with the egg (I have a LBGE) and DOing or should I return it and buy a lodge or something else? I must be honest, I am lazy as hell so true cast iron might not be good in my hands!
