Actually this is for all of us. Came across a web site today featured in the Atlanta Constitution called "Girls at the Grill". They really have a bunch of great and different recipes on the site. Their tag line is "If you can eat it, you can grill it."

Wise One,[p]It's about time that we girls got some credit for being able to find our way around a grill! [p]Today's cooking saga began last night at midnight when I put a 2-pack of butts from Sam's weighing 14.5 lbs on the cooker with some cherry and hickory for smoke (these are insurance just in case the beef ribs I have planned don't work out). I had rubbed them with mustard and heavily coated them with Chef Wil's Grilla Shaker rub earlier yesterday morning and put them wrapped in Saran Wrap in the fridge. Then when the time came, fired up the large Egg. When it was ready, I put the wood on and loaded it up with the butts. I closed up the vents with just a bare minimum of opening (the place I know they eventually end up) and let the cooker rise slowly up to my target temp of 225°-250°. By 2am, she was stable and 215°, so I went to bed. At about 4am, I woke up, checked and it had only risen to 240° so I tapped the top closed just a smidge more and went back to sleep. When I got up this morning, she was sitting at 225° and hasn't budged since...I LOVE my eggs![p]Next, I made the marinade for the beef ribs that are actually tonight's dinner. I wound up choosing the recipe submitted by The Naked Whiz called "Crushed Peppercorn and Orange Glazed Ribs". Boy, the marinade sure is tasty...can't wait to see how the ribs turn out![p]Then, I decided to do some chicken wings for lunch, so I've got them prepped and sitting in marinade also.[p]Hopefully I'll get some good pics to share....[p]Sure is a great day to do some Q-ing!

QBabe,[p]Sounds like a great day for Q. The molasses-bourbon beef ribs from yesterday turned out great. The followed the ribs 3-1-1.5 method, but shortened the last 1.5 to about 1 hr. Salad was good too. I recommend them both. Tonight we're trying calzone for the first time. And I couldn't stop myself from making another batch of those fantastic Louisville Wings (drumettes). Life is good. (And better with an Egg.)

JK,[p]Funny you should mention the Louisville wings...the wings that are marinating in my fridge right now are a kicked up version of them. I added 1/2 tsp cayenne and 1/2 tsp chipotle powder, plus 2-3 drops of Dave's Insanity sauce to the original recipe to increase the heat some....![p]Glad to hear the ribs turned out well. Mine will be going on momentarily....[p]Tonia
