Sun finnaly came out today so took a quick ride to the "World stake cook off" in Magnolia Ark. Will post pics off the rigs but they were in all the way from Toranto Canada. Got home and did a little cooking for a change. First raws for pablano peppers.

Nice, nice cook--I really had my eye on those skewers, too. Never seen something like that in the store, so I'll be on the hunt for some now.

That tenderloin looks like something really tasty! I haven't done one in a while, and with the pulled pork tomorrow the family may want to take a break from pork after I hit 'em with the goods tomorrow.

Yup...got all my stuff done on Friday so that I could have a somewhat peaceful weekend.

XL...you know I've had my eye on one of those just like you look at the Small Egg. Did some horse trading with the dealer and got that cooker instead of the Large that I won.

I'm trying to get that thing up to temp right now with the DigiQ, and it's taking forever. That big boy needs some fuel to get up to temp. Anyway, I'll be using the last of your oak and persimmon to smoke the pork butts tonight.

Hi to D and Jake for me. Oh, and the kitty cat in the cage, too :)
