last night's pork burgers...YUMMY!

There's a local meat packer here called Rabers which makes a ground pork patty that is a favorite in our home. I wet the meat and then hit with a favorite rub. On the egg direct at 375 for 4/4/2. That last 2 minutes is to melt a slice of hot pepper cheese. Top that with grilled onions and a bun with a favorite BBQ sauce. I gotta tell you - that is one terrific tasting sandwich!
Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time!

Nothing like some good sausage with hot pepper cheese. Never tried the grilled onions and bbq sauce though.

These patties aren't what I'd call sausage, since the meat is not spicy - it's truly just ground pork with the same consistency of ground beef. BTW when I said I wet the meat I mean with Worcestershire.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time!

Pork and hot pepper cheese go together either way. In the late 70's I made the homemade sausage from the weeks trimmings on Saturday morning, then I made a sausage/hot pepper cheese burger on a hot plate. That is what your post me think of.
Made a cute little pig. Just didn't cook it. :woohoo:

BTW those patties come frozen rock hard in a 5# roll and are in the first set of freezers just inside the front door to the right.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time!
