Yesterday I had people over for lunch and decided to make a little surf'n turf
This is the bone-in tenderloin from the porterhouse(cabreria), with olive oil and Montreal Steak Seasoning before going in the grill

There were of course some apetizers
Here are the freshly-made flour grilled tortillas

The refried-chorizo-porkfat-beans and the chorizo grilled/baked cheese.

In the end, the beef went in at 600°F, and was 3 minutes per side and 5 minutes with the vents closed

I then took the fire down to 450°F and put the shrimp in

I was afraid they would fall through so I skewered them just for cooking purposes

There was of course people that thought it was for SERVING purposes

Somewhere in there someone asked for a rum and coke but declined when she saw the only white rum available was this

We were there all afternoon and in the end decided to bake some chocolate chip cookies in the BGE for dessert
