Steak au poivre.
Flaming Cognac didn't show in pic, but was pretty exciting there for a minute

That looks real good, I love Steak au poivre.

Pretty easy, I get the cast iron very hoyt and sprinkle some Kosher salt on it and toss on the steak strips that have been given a good coating of coarsely crushed black pepper searing on all sides. When well seared I coat with butter, then sprinkle on Lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tobasco sauce, all liberally. Then a shot of Cognac or Bourbon. It may catch fire by itself or you may have to light it. Remove strips and pour the remaining boiling hot sauce over. You like things spicy I am suree, Experiment with proportions.
Watch out with that hot CI, use an Orca and be quick. Some people add heavy cream to the sauce for added cholesterol but the First Mate and I are kind of health nuts. :huh: -
