Hi Eggheads,
Under the recipe section titled beef. I tried a recipe called "Clays pulled beef BBQ". I followed the directions and I was blown away with the results. I am glad someone a couple of weeks ago talked about this recipe. Although I don't get to post a whole lot because of my work and having two children under 2. I enjoy seeing the posts and great pictures and being inspired for the ten or so minutes that I can scan the forum before I go to bed. Thank you all!!! I really want to be more than a lurker.

Glad you had a good cook with the pulled beef recipe. I have some saved in foodsaver bags in the freezer for quick workday dinners.
I'm not posting as much but I check the forum just about every day and I understand how busy you are.
    Have a great weekend!

it was me and the results were great. i passed on the maple syrup , but that is just me. best thing about this is it was easy to do , easy to adjust the amount of smoke you want and very forgiving, pulling and putting back on the egg with the beef broth makes it almost fool proof imho. for me it was a spur of the moment cook as i had two wegmans choice chuck eyes in the fridge. and i used my dutch oven at for the finish. for those who want a great intro to low and slow, this is it. does not have to be an all nighter. and you can add more liquid at the end if it needs more time or you think it is too dry. learn temp control during the day with coffee and finish off late afternoon with the beverage of your choice. thanks to clay
