london broil -- don't do this

Well, so often we get great advice on what to do. So, here's some great advice -- don't do this.[p]I had a nice london broil. It seemed pretty thick to me, and I tend to err on the side of rare cause i hate overdone anything. So i decided this time i wasn't going to get yelled at by my spouse-type who tends to grow faint and waive articles of clothing about her face whenever i bring a cut of pork to table. With beef, she simply gets irritated and she puts it, god help us, in the microwave.[p]So, anyway, i knew 3 minutes a side wasn't enough for this steak, and i sort of went overboard. I did 6 minutes a side on a good steak fire.[p]
wrong. buzzer going off. overcooked. it was edible, but[p]the moral of this story is...[p]six minutes a side is too much for london broil. write it down. tattoo it on your forehead. believe it. it is true.[p]
