can you hold these before serving? Want to try them and take to a party next weekend. Would have to sit three to four hours between cook and serve. Is this ok??

  • RC Waterfront,
ABT;s make wonderful snacks. Yes they will hold fine for that length of time. If you want them served warm just nuke them for a few seconds just prior to serving. The way I do mine is cut them into three or four pieces and put a toothpick in each. I have served them both ways, cold or warm. People love them both ways. A lot of people use little smokies in them however I prefer italian sausage in mine along with the cream cheese and wrapped in bacon. You can use almost anything in them and they will love them. Good luck Bucky

  • Bucky Buckshot,
Thanks. I will give it a try.

    Bucky Buckshot,
Agreed. Depending upon time, plating, etc., you can make them well in advance and nuke on the serving platter just before service.[p]We recently used pulled pork for the first time, and they were great.[p]Ken

    BlueSmoke,
They are good that way. I tried some once with a little PP and a pineapple chunk and they were very good. Mothers day we made some with a shrimp in each one, again very tasty.
