We're having barbecued wings, a 6# chuck roast (smoke cooked for a few hours and finished in a dutch oven), potato salad, green beans, sweet BBQ beans, cheese scones and ginger bread for desert. All the MIL's favorites. And at you place?[p]~thirdeye~
Happy Trails

    thirdeye,
We aren't sure yet. Probably a prime rib or beef wellington again. Brent wants to make spaghetti for some reason.

thirdeye,[p]Friday was the first time we did quesadillas on the Egg, and my wife really liked them. My vegetarian daughter is coming over to say hi on the holiday, so we figured quesadillas would work well. Yesterday's pulled pork will be available as an ingredient in addition to the grilled avacados, onions, mushrooms, etc. Eggspect it to be yummy, with everyone getting their own preference hot off the stone.[p]gdenby

    thirdeye,
1" thick ribeyes, baked potato, maybe corn on the cob.

  • thirdeye,
My mom died 10 years ago and I still miss her. Mother's Day is bittersweet. But she'd be happy to see me playing with Bruce today! I'm trying pizza for my first time. I'll post pictures later. Have fun today!

    <p />thirdeye,
Finally got a chance to light up the trio.
Mini at 650 for searing burgers
Small at 350 for finishing burgers
Large at 450 for tater tots and wokked veggies.
I gotta move that pesky gasser one of these days.[p]I added a wee bit of butter and a dash of Cow Lick to the onion burgers. Topped with provolone.
It was too windy to see the smoke so I misjudged how clean the fire was for the tots. They had a bit of a nasty taste, but ketchup fixed that for the most part.
Learned the sear on mini technique from WessB. Good stuff![p]burg01.jpg[p]burg02.jpg[p]burgdone.jpg[p]Green stuff is a tortellini salad. There's a bunch of that left over...Happy Mother's Day!
