Hi folks,[p]I've sure learned a great deal from this site, and I'd like to share an interesting sauce with you all. This is not my original sauce, however, I did make a couple of changes. If you try it, I hope you like it... I love it with ribs. (pretty good with chicken too)[p]Black Pork Rib Sauce[p]1tsp - Ginger
1tsp - Dried Onion
1tsp - dried mustard
3 cloves minced garlic
3/4 cup soya sauce
1.5cups Turbinado Sugar
1 cup Ketchup[p]Mix together and bring to a boil for 10-15 minutes
cool and use to baste ribs.[p]I hope you like it... And thanks for the help!!![p]Cheers,

Mark,[p]Is the color Black? Does it turn black form caramalizing the turbinado? Or is it from the Skunk Works?[p]Regardless it sounds good. Is it really sweet?[p]E

Eggecutioner,[p]Yep, it's really black... I believe it's black because of the sugar and the soya. Not overly sweet but darn tasty... Interesting twist on sauce I thought... Much different that the typical stuff... I haven't figured out what kind of rub might be nice with it though... Any ideas?[p]Mark

Mark,[p]Yes, I do Have and idea for a rub. Red Eye Express from Dizzy Pig. It has coffee in it. I am thinking that would make a good pair.[p]E
