Just a few moments ago I tossed BBB on Eggie. This is the first time I've tried them on the Egg. The receipt is old family, on Daddys side, and not too different from the Durgin Park receipt. Durgin Park for those of you that aren't familiar with Boston is a landmark place to eat. Their baked beans are some of the best! I guess there are only a couple of ways to cook'um and now we'll see how they do in the Egg![p]Carey

  • Sundown, many years ago I had dinner at Durgin Park. I recall the beans, and the prime rib that was larger than the plate and a couple of inches thick. Please post your beans recipe, or E-mail to me.

Sundown, where do yo live?? I'm originally from South Weymouth - about 18-20 miles south of Boston. Now live in Kennebunk, Maine. We get to Boston often. Know Durgin Park well...have eaten there probably hundreds of times. A truly unique experience everytime. Could you post your recipe or e-mail me. Thanks very much.
