Woody,[p]Thanks. That's one of my favorites. [p]I wonder when the real Lisa Marie will be calling?

    Woody,
I've heard too many good things about this meatloaf, so I told my wife this morning to go buy the ingredients. Can't wait to eat it tonight![p]Mike

  • Eggtuary,
How do I get this recipe? I didn't see it posted unless I missed it!
    Thanks!

  • Dublin Dawg,
The best and fairest way would be to buy his book.

  • Chuck Frank,
Thanks! Didn't realize this was in a book. Just ordered from Amazon.com[p]

  • Woody,[p]We made it last week for the first time and I agree, it was outstanding. Sandwiches with the leftovers were superb.
It was not that different in ingredients from what I have made in the past. (Big meatloaf family here.) But I've never made a meatloaf in a meatloaf pan before and that made it really moist and tasty. I'm now a convert to the pans![p]They used to make a meatloaf pan that had an insert with holes. I haven't seen one in years, but it would seem like the way to go so you wouldn't have to buy the disposable and always be throwing them away. Has anyone seen one recently and, if so, where?[p]Dr. BBQ's recipe also had lots more eggs than I've ever used and also way more liquid. I'm sure that contributed to the juiciness too.[p]Gwen aka steward of our earth <g>

  • Dublin Dawg,[p]You will NOT be sorry. Be sure and make the backyard championship ribs right off the bat.[p]Gwen aka Dr. BBQ's biggest fan ;)
  • dimplesmom,
Amazon.com has several different meat loaf pans, with the insert and holes. This supossedly lets the grease and fat drain away. They are very inexpensive.

I bought mine off of Amazon as well. The insert thing is great

    drbbq,
Well, we made the meat loaf tonight. Very good taste. But I'm wondering: Just how hot (spicy) is it supposed to be? My wife prepared it for me, so all I had to do was throw it on the Egg when I got home. We only did one loaf, so she cut the recipe in half. As spicy as it was, I'm wondering if she cut everything in half except the jalapenos.[p]Again, GREAT flavor, but I didn't remember anybody saying that it lit 'em up!
