RRP's Ham and Bean Soup - Again and Again

This is one of my favorite soup recipes and often make it with left-over ham from Thanksgiving. More recently, I don't have the ham bone because I am providing the turkey, so I substitute a ham hock or 2. I remember from a previous post that he doesn't use the slurry mixture anymore, but I like it because I thin out the soup with more water near the end. I also only use about 1 cup or so of the diced ham.
Made with this year's Turkey Stock. @RRP aka Ron Pratt, Dunlap, IL

Thanks for your kind acknowledgement. Actually I do still use that slurry and I feel that is what makes my ham and bean soup way above and beyond!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time
