I don't see the yellow new post box

I only see the yellow box on three threads I don't check any more, and all of those have hundreds or thousands of posts.

Is any one else missing this? I haven't knowingly fiddled with any parameters. I was able to restore my original name in that last debacle.

    There's been some changes and Mr. Buffalo is probably tinkering with things right now, many of us are seeing some changes.
    I would've suggested you check the top-left of your screen and if it says, "Howdy Stranger, would you like to log in", that's a reason that the yellow boxes disappear in the past; that you're seeing them on just three threads, though, that's weird.  
    I'd just sit tight, things are usually fixed fairly quickly.
