I was in Vegas for thanksgiving visiting my sister and her hubby.

I cooked the bird on their med Egg, They loved it and learned a lot about using the Egg. Made me feel good.

No gambling involved, but a wonderful time. The only locals that frequent casinos are the employees.

Blue Man Group was nuts, a great show. WOW!

The "Mob Museum" was a fun, informative 4 hour trip through Mafioso history in the U.S. Could have spent 6 hrs.

Pee'd on the new stadium site, I'm a Bronco fan.

@berndcrisp Sounds like a good visit. Given the train wreck in Oakland I think you may have wasted an opportunity to pee elsewhere  ;)
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

As a Vegas resident, I will vouch for not going to a casino, unless we are going for a dinner. Glad you had a good time!

In  my experiences, wherever you are as a local, you definitely don't do the tourist thing unless prompted by out of town guests.  In a previous life we found out we were moving around 6 months earlier than planned.  Became force fed tourists for a bit.
