    Store by me did an online release, totally forgot to log in at the right time.  Remembered 2 hours later, but nothing was left at that point.

    VA is having 4 lottery’s for the right to buy.  1 each for the 10, 12, 15 and 23 years.  Im entering all, but won’t know until January.

    There is also a 5th package of all 4, but they want a grand for it.  Not happening.

    What a friggin deal-just hammers home the power of marketing and restricted quantity.  Local adult beverage store used (key word) to dutifully keep track of your purchases thru the year and then, depending on your spend would allow you the option to purchase one of the PVW bottles when they got their release.  Bought a lot, drank a lot so all was good.  This gig ended around 4 years ago.  
    Reasonable approach-then they realized that the wide open lottery would definitely enhance sales and away it went.  Don't shop there any more.  FWIW-
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

    Thanks. Over the past five years or so I have become somewhat of a bourbon enthusiast /connoisseur/ hunter / collector. A lot of work goes into finding the stuff!!!! Probably too much.

    The last time I bought any Pappys it was ~$60 for the 15 yr. No doubt some of the best hooch ever made but the circus surrounding it is a bit much. But my local spot is great and my last time in there I entered a free raffle, and I'll be damned if I didn't win some.

    Distribution begins in October and goes all the way to the end off December. Varies  state by state.
