Crepes-Crepes-Crepes-Crepes-Blackstone-BGE

This was my first time making crepes. My wife and I really enjoyed watching the process of making them when over in Europe. With the addition of a Blackstone in the stable I went ahead and ordered a set of crepe spreader tools. The crepe tools came in last week so I figured I'd better find out how to make a crepe. They seem to be very similar to what my wife calls a "sweedish pancake".

The batter getting mixed:

My wife and I first attempt of making a crepe. (They make it look so easy in person)

The first day way made fruit dessert crepes. One of our favorites when in Europe.

Day two we made Monte Cristo crepes:

Day 3 we made Mongolian Beef Crepes:

Yesterday we made Spinach Mushroom Chicken crepes. This was by far my favorite crepe. This was also the most time consuming crepe but worth it in the end. This crepe I'll be making for my parents when they come over next time.

It's been fun dabbling with crepes. Something new and different. A cook where you can use the Blackstone and Egg together. What a great combo!

Wow....was in Paris a couple of years back and enjoyed some dinner type crapes that were outstanding. You have my interest peaked...please continue posing these. The ones we had all had an egg cracked on them at the finish and their sausage was like nothing we have here. Outstanding.

Haha Thanks! @SmokeyPitt The forum kept saying "error" but was posting each time I hit submit. I didn't think it would post when it kept saying "error".

    Here is the crepe recipe:

    1 cup all purpose flour
    1.5 cups milk
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon vegetable oil
    1/4 teaspoon salt

The recipes below will probably have different ingredients for crepes but I used the combination above for each cook.

I also added some extra stuff to the recipes or have bigger ratios.

Next time I would add more chicken to the Mushroom/Spinach recipe. The white wine was optional. It's a perfect compliment in my opinion. I also added toasted sesame sauce to the mushrooms.

    Monte Cristo Crepes:

    Mongolian Beef Crepes:

    Spinach Mushroom Chicken Crepe:

These recipes aren't exactly made for the Blackstone. So it will need a little adjusting on how it's done on the Blackstone.
