Tonight's cook...this is one of my favorites.

When I started egging, I started out liking the usual stuff, ribs, pulled pork that kind of thing. Then I tried meatloaf and was hooked. Something about the flavor of egged meatloaf just puts it over the top. Tonight's was no exception. Very good. Cooked indirect at 375 to internal of 160. Used a Green Valley Ranch Smokehouse Marinade for the topping instead of ketchup/tomato paste/brown sugar to cut back some on the carb count. Served with roasted zucchini.

Great cook right there. Congrats.
You want a great side-give mac & cheese a go (crumbled bacon across the top) with a heavy dose of smoke. That stuff is dang near addictive. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
Great color on that meatloaf! The veggies look good too, but that sure is a small serving of mashed potatoes.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

If you can get your hands on some Stonewall Kitchens Country Ketsup, THAT is very good in/on meatloaf (and fries and burgers and...)!!!

Nice cook. Meatloaf is a strong strong cook for the egg. We do it often, and always easy and a home run. Easy clean up in a foil pan and some bourbon barrel staves for smoke !
