17lb briskets don't fit in freezer...

Hit the plus side of 16-18 lbs, one 16.9 and one 17.5. Unanticipated problem, though: side-by-side fridge isn't deep enough and the door won't shut!

Solution: remove a shelf and stand them upright. It is always better to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission. First one is getting cooked on Dec 17th, I might take one out and wet-age it.

Very timely post.  My SRF shipment came in today.  Both freezers are full, and what didn't fit is in the fridge thawing for this weekend, lol.

I anticipate having the same exact problem. I am not having my shipment arrive until December 16th. Hopefully allowing for enough time for me to thin out my freezers. Haha

Me three.  During the move I left a deep freeze and and extra fridge.  Really wishing I hadn't left those.  One small counter depth fridge sucks.

I have a spot reserved in the in laws freezer. I really need another fridge and a freezer.
