Prime meat at Sam's

Hey guys, I went to Sam's the other day in Greensboro NC, looking for Prime meat. The only thing I found was Choice, and no one knew what I was talking about when I asked. Do they carry Prime meat? I was hoping to pick up a brisket

    My Sam's or RD doesn't carry prime here in Central FL.  The RD in Jacksonville, FL. use to carry prime grade and then stopped.  I asked one of the guys about it and his reply was nobody wanted to pay a little extra for better quality so we stopped ordering it.

    You'll not find prime brisket at Sam's or Costco.  Costco does have prime meats though,  just not brisket. 

    Your best bet is to hit up SRF's sale if they still have it going for brisket.

    I've never even seen a packer at my SAMs, definitely no primes around here in Florida, only found choice at Walmart, most are select.

    My local SAMs (Columbia, Mo) always has prime packers. They usually also have prime beef tenderloin, top sirloin and sometimes ribeyes. Prime packers usually run under $3 per pound.

    In Vegas, I've only found choice at Sam's. I have found prime at Costco, even brisket 
    Large BGE, Adjustable Rig, Small BGE, 2 BBQ Guru's, 18" WSM, Rockwood, Stage 3 Roush Mustang and a hot wife...

    I don't think I have seen any prime beef at my Sam's in GA.  Definitely not prime briskeys.  They are Excel brand choice grade Angus. 

    Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

    Good for you. Not happening in pork country (our area as the OP went to the same Sams).
