Meatloaf. It's what's for dinner.

375 indirect, factory level grate for one hour with one cherry chunk. I would not use wood next time and the recipe I chose was rather meh. Texture was great but tasted rather bland.

Looks good!  That dish doesn't need much smoke.  Keep on keeping on brother!

Meatloaf is one of my absolute favorite cooks off an egg.  It's been too long, thanks for the cook.

Sorry the taste disappointed you -- it looks perfect!!!  Texture looks just the way I like it, looks juicy.

I like meatloaf on the Egg, and my wife LOVES it!  I never put wood on, but the BGE lump I use always gives things a little smoky flavor, and I love it on the meatloaf.

There are so many meatloaf recipes!  I've made several, and have a SIX so far that I want to try.  People were raving about "Cat's Meatloaf" on the other forum, and I searched for it there and on this forum, and again found people raving about it.  I'm definitely going to try that one of these days.

FWIW, a recipe we both love is "Ain't Momma's Meat Loaf" from Smoke and Spice, and I'm sure it has been posted here, though confusingly someone has also posted a completely different recipe with the same title.

We also love Ina Garten's 1770 House Meatloaf, but I haven't cooked that one on the Egg yet.

@Theophan: Is Cat's Meatloaf the one by QBabe? I searched for it and those links no longer exist. Can you post it please?

No -- Cat and Qbabe are different people, and I'm sure those recipes are different.  I found one by Qbabe for you on the original forum, though.  (I wish this forum were more easily searchable specifically for recipes.  There are recipe sections, but so far as I can see, there's no way to search just those sections -- any search winds up searching every message on the forum.)
