Wegman's frozen Salmon...turned out great!

So, I was planning on getting some high quality salmon from Legman's for my 16th wedding anniversary. This is the first time I would be making seafood on the egg, so I was excited. Of course, they were out of fresh salmon, so the wife got their frozen bagged wild sock eye salmon. Oh well
I dusted the salmon with some Emirl's Essence I made. Whipped up a lemon/butter/garlic/caper/dill/wine sauce. Seasoned some asparagus with Chophouse seasoning. Made some wild rice. And sautéed some spinach with garlic.
I seared the salmon in a CI skillet for 2 minutes and then grilled for 4 minutes skin side down for about 3-4 minutes. This turned out to be the best Salmon i ever made. The wife declared this is the only way she will eat salmon at home from now on.

Sauce and salmon look great. Whole meal looks great.
How much of the egg- smoky flavor did you have on the salmon cooking in cast-iron? -
I'm always hesitant to buy frozen fish because it is usually no good (develops a strong flavor), but every once in a while it's great. Glad you nailed it.
Love the look of that sauce. Thanks for sharing.
