What's it worth?

I have  DigiQDx2 with a Pit Viper fan. Have a complete second blower assembly.  Works well but after using the Flameboss 100 a few times I no longer care for the DigiQ and plan on getting another Flameboss....we have 2 Eggs and I often cook on both of them. 

So what should I ask for the DigiQ?

    I think you can use your pit vipers with the flame boss. Might just want to keep it. Otherwise, I would say 1/2 price or less.

    Like you, I bought a DigiQ first, then bought a FB200 unit based on my son's experience with his FB100.  I can't find enough difference in the basic non-wifi functionality to shake a stick at.  What am I missing?

    Like you, I bought a DigiQ first, then bought a FB200 unit based on my son's experience with his FB100.  I can't find enough difference in the basic non-wifi functionality to shake a stick at.  What am I missing?
    Flameboss customer service is the big one. Had an issue with the DigiQ. Took close to 2 months to get it resolved. Lot of finger pointing on there part. All over a known problem with a defective blower motor. Went as far as sending the complete unit in....got it back was told it was a setting problem....they never even checked the blower. First time I went to use it the wires pulled off. If you do a search on that particular pc fan you will see nothing but complaints about the wires pulling off the blower motor. 

    Had a problem with the Flameboss.  Emailed them. Ran it a few times following their instructions. Emailed them...warranty unit on the way.

    Have to go help the Boss....

    Thanks for the feedback.  Haven't had any problems with my DigiQ, so no experience with their customer service.  Haven't really had any problems with my Flame Boss either, but they (Michael) has been very quick to answer my questions.

    Was kind of lukewarm with support from the Guru folks.  And Rock's CS from Stoker is infamous.

    Good to see some more competition out there.  When the Guru fails, I will not get another from them.

  • I also had issue with my flame boss 200 with pit temp sensor . Called told them what issue was and had new sensor in two days . Great Customer Service
