My wife has become quite involved and interested in BGE cooking and lifestyle of late, so we have been attending more Eggfest together so she can try new things and learn as she goes. In late July we attended the Pittsburgh Eggfest and we enjoyed some live demos from Linkie Marais. This recipe and demo caught my wife's attention so we decided to give it a go today. We tweaked the ingredients a bit to our tastes and overall we really enjoyed the flavours! In the future I will dice the onion more finely and add some hot peppers. Definitely worth a try and it feeds a big group.

@blind99 I have the large BGE island for my Large Egg, I enjoy the MM as my side burner and my XL sits in its nest around the corner for large cooks! I love the island, very well made, and lots of storage. Did you use hamburger meat instead of the chorizo? While looking at your pics, I thought damn that would be good with chorizo and then looked at the link and that's what she used. Bookmarked.
