trying another's recipe
Thanks "Thatgrimguy" your recipe of chicken pasted with jalapeno (pecan) jelly and sour cream wrapped in bacon was a hit. I used the indirect method for the first time and it took me a little long to reach the desired temperature. I'm not sure if the aluminum drip pan had any bearing on that. Can't say enough about my new BGE, which I recently purchased.

Indirect takes a little longer with chicken. That's how I do it most of the time. We like the texture a little better going indirect.
