It doesn't get any better than this.....

Had the family over for Sunday night dinner at Granny and Pa's.  I was planning on more pictures but I got carried away with the Grands.  Sorry.  I bought a whole beef tenderloin at Costco for $12.99/pound.  I trimmed very little fat, seasoned it and tied it up to a uniform thickness.  I got the egg up to about 550 degrees and gave it a nice sear.  Removed the meat while I got it down to about 300 and raised the grate.  I pulled the meat at 125 and it was one of the best pieces of cow we have had.  The little fellow thought the best part was having escargot in the hot tub.  Great time was had by all.
