The wife came home yesturday with Strep-Throat and our oldest is starting kindergarden today so I let him decide what he wanted for supper. He thought about it and said he wanted to have pancakes. I prefer not to eat pancakes so I tossed on some mushroom swiss burgers and bacon. The bacon was cooked in a tin pan with burgers above on the AR and then moved to the bottom to finish. Both were cooked aroung 400 degrees direct. The pancakes were going on the small with a cast iron pan around 375 direct. I was crazy busy keeping all of this going at the same time but it all worked out in the end and the boys and dad were all happy! Didn't get much sleep last night and not very productive today as worrying about our first born in school. Can't wait to here how his day went.

It looks great.  I must admit I was a little disappointed because I thought for sure I would see a bacon cheeseburger on a pancake bun!  

I'm sure your little one will love his first day of school.  It goes by so fast...seems like yesterday we were dropping off our first one.  She started high school this year.  I am so old!!!

Looks awesome.  Never thought about putting the bacon in the pan under the burgers like that.  Ever put the burgers in the pan for the last 5-10 min?

@saluki2007‌ Thanks, Nope but it would be good for sure. Problem with the bacon on top was it wouldn't get enough heat while not burning the burgers

Most definitely, he loves to help with prep but a tad early for the fire side of things.
