Doc Bosker's Cherry Moppin Sauce

Ingredients

1 bottle Sam Adams Cherry Wheat Beer ( 2 cups)

1-2/3 cup ketchup

1 tsp salt

2 Tbsp yellow mustard

6 Tbsp packed dark brown sugar

2 Tbsp molasses

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1 Tbsp crushed red pepper

1/2 tsp liquid smoke

1 Tbsp Louisianna Hot Sauce

1 cup Chopped Michigan Sweet Cherries

Instructions

Combine ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer for approx. 1 hour (longer for a thicker sauce) Use less crushed red pepper for a more mild sauce. This sauce is eggcellant with pulled pork!
